FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES, KACHIA RECOGNISED AT JAMB POLICY MEETING.

The Federal University of Applied Sciences was singled out for recognition by the Honourable Minister of Education Maruf Tunji Alausa , CON at the just concluded JAMB policy meeting. The Minister while enumerating the ranking of Universities accross five criteria, highlighted the impressive performance of FUASK which was the fourth runner up to the highest, stated " 

Speaking during the meeting, the Honourable Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, CON, while presenting the ranking of universities across five performance criteria, singled out FUASK for commendation. The Minister highlighted the university’s remarkable progress, noting that it emerged as the fourth highest-performing institution among the universities assessed.

Expressing optimism about the institution’s future, the Minister stated, “The way things are going, FUASK would soon be one of the best.”

The commendation is widely seen as a reflection of the visionary leadership and unflinching commitment of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. William Barnabas Qurix, OFR, FNIA, whose relentless drive for academic excellence, infrastructural development, innovation, and institutional growth has continued to position the university on a steady path of national relevance and global competitiveness. Stakeholders at the meeting encouraged the Vice Chancellor to sustain the momentum and continue giving his best towards placing FUASK among the leading universities in Nigeria.

The recognition further highlights the growing reputation of FUASK as an emerging centre of excellence in applied sciences, innovation, research, and academic development in Nigeria.
