FUASK Begins First Semester Examinations with Strong Emphasis on Integrity

The Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia (FUASK), on Monday, 2nd February 2026, commenced its first semester examinations for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. William Barnabas Qurix, OFR, FNIA, in the company of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Alexander Kure; the Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Ishaya Kato Auta; the Chief Security Officer, CSP (Rtd) Dr. Solomon Dantawaye; and other staff went round various examination venues to inspect the exercise.

While interacting with students during the inspection, the Vice-Chancellor admonished them to study hard and conduct themselves with integrity, stressing that the University maintains zero tolerance for examination malpractice. He expressed satisfaction with the orderly conduct of the examinations, the level of preparedness of the students, and the conducive environment provided for the exercise.

Speaking on the examinations, the Director of Academic Planning, Prof. Jerry *Godfrey* Makama, stated that the first semester examinations are scheduled to last for a period of two weeks. He thanked the University Management for the support and logistics provided to ensure a smooth and hitch-free examination period.

It will be recalled that the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic session commenced on 29th September 2025, culminating in the ongoing first semester examinations.
