MASSIVE TURNOUT AT FUASK FIRST POST UTME SCREENING

Massive Turnout as FUASK Commences 2025/2026 Post-UTME Screening Exercise

The Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia (FUASK) has successfully commenced its Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) screening exercise for admission into the 2025/2026 academic session. The screening began on Monday, 28th July, and continued on Tuesday, 29th July 2025, recording a massive turnout of prospective students seeking admission into various academic programmes of the university.

The exercise proceeded smoothly, bolstered by robust security arrangements put in place by the University Management to ensure the safety and orderly conduct of the process.

Day one of the screening exercise focused on candidates applying to the College of Medicine and the Faculties of Pharmacy, Sciences, and Environmental Sciences. Day two saw an even larger turnout, with applicants for the Faculties of Allied Health Sciences, Computing, and Architecture participating in the exercise.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. William Barnabas Qurix, OFR, FNIA, accompanied by members of Management and volunteers, inspected the screening venues and expressed satisfaction with the smooth and organized conduct of the process. He commended the Admissions Office and all supporting units for their dedication and professionalism.

According to Prof. Qurix “The impressive turnout of candidates is a clear indication of the growing confidence in FUASK’s vision and academic direction. I am particularly pleased with the orderliness and efficiency observed throughout the exercise. This reflects our commitment to excellence and transparency in all university operations."

He further assured candidates and their families of the university’s unwavering dedication to a merit-based admission process, reiterating FUASK’s mission to produce highly skilled graduates in applied sciences and technology relevant to Nigeria’s development.

The Post-UTME screening will continue on Monday, 11th and Tuesday, 12th August 2025, for candidates scheduled in the next batch. All applicants are advised to stay informed by regularly checking the university’s official communication channels for updates on screening dates and requirements.

With the process progressing seamlessly, FUASK remains focused on ensuring a transparent and merit-driven admission process for the 2025/2026 academic year.
