Moro’a Community Leaders Strengthen Partnership with FUASK

Leaders of the Moro’a Community paid a courtesy visit to the management of the Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia (FUASK) on Wednesday, 11th March 2026, to further strengthen cooperation between the University and its host communities.

Speaking during the visit, the President of the Moro’a Community, Dr. J. J. Laah, expressed appreciation to the management of FUASK for the cordial relationship that exists between the University and the host communities. He reaffirmed the community’s commitment to supporting the institution in its efforts towards growth, peace, and sustainable development.

In his response, the Vice-Chancellor of FUASK, Prof. William Barnabas Qurix, OFR, FNIA, thanked the Moro’a Community leaders for the visit and for their continued support to the University. He emphasized the importance of mutual understanding and collaboration between the institution and its host communities as a foundation for development and peaceful coexistence.

The Vice-Chancellor reiterated the University’s commitment to maintaining a strong and productive relationship with its host communities in order to advance the institution’s mandate in teaching, research, and community service.

The visit ended on a cordial note with the presentation of souvenirs and group photographs to commemorate the occasion.

Those present at the meeting included the Registrar, Prof. Adamu Sanusi Gambo; the University Bursar, Mallam Dalhat Ibrahim; and the University Librarian, Prof. Daniel Abubakar.
